Nations Gathered
For Worship.
We are a community defined by the enduring practice of New Testament teaching. For thirty-seven years, we have gathered as nations under one roof, bound by a simple commitment: to share the truth in love.
Our Narrative
The narrative of West Oaks Fellowship began in June 1985. Founded by Pastor Frank Estes as Grace Church, our early years were spent in the quiet corners of homes, hotel conference rooms, and office buildings. It was a period of itinerancy that forged a deep sense of resilience and shared purpose among the founding members.
In the late nineties, the vision for a permanent anchor in West Houston took shape—a space built to specifically serve the evolving needs of our growing family. The community rallied, construction began in 1999, and we transitioned to our current home on Richmond Avenue.
With this move came a new name. We became West Oaks Fellowship to more clearly identify with the neighborhood we serve. While our surroundings have evolved, our core remains unchanged: a sanctuary for worship and a bridge for those seeking contemporary faith grounded in ancient, biblical wisdom.
